Welcome to My Personal Page
Breast cancer was part of growing up for me. I was only 10 when I got off the school bus to discover my folks crying about my Mom's terminal diagnosis. But through faith, family and modern medicine she survived 2 mastectomies, 11 years, 3 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Cynthia Chandler remains the most optimistic human I've ever met. She would say, "the babbling brooke would not sound as sweet if it weren't for all the rocks." or "situations color us but we get to pick the shade." Her favorite verses were Proverbs 3:5,6. She lived them. So, the fight continues for another generation until breast cancer is a memory noone has to have. Don't give until it hurts, give until it feels good. Thanks!
